A little Halloween fun, a warning about AI code, and our post-literate society

My thoughts are solidifying further...

I’m levelling out to around seven hours of sleep now.

The aim is to close out the year with this trend and proudly say that I reclaimed my physical state; a “Thor: Love and Thunder” comeback, if you will.

Not only that, but a few other parts of my core message (i.e., figuring out what matters to me) have snapped into place. It’s looking like the trend is that the more I reclaim my abilities in the real world, the more I can crystallize my thoughts in the digital one.

Who would have thought, right?

Here’s what I’ve come across this week:

Prismatic Progress:

I devoured “If Anyone Builds It, Everyone Dies” this week.

I suppose this is the side-effect of getting more sleep. My mind is becoming a little more aggressive in its appetite. It’s also demanding that I share my ideas with a little more passion than I have in the past.

Or maybe it’s because I’m beginning to wake up to the reality that we’re in a race to the bottom in more than one aspect of our species.

My message is becoming more and more refined. It’s been a slowly forming planet in and of itself. Like the cosmic dust from a collection of old supernovae billions of years ago, the mind’s disparate thoughts can start to coalesce into something more defined, more hard, more resilient.

This is what happens when you read and write and think for a long period of time.

I highly recommend it to anyone, even if it’s just to be a little more interesting or interested in the life you have. Yes, the US political situation is falling apart at the seams, but on the flip side, it’s hell-bent on funding the end of humanity from a technological perspective as well. Since I’m a student of both sides in terms of my own multicultural upbringing, I can see the irony of the situation.

My message isn’t just about understanding yourself and establishing a digital presence, it’s about seeing the bigger picture through education, self-improvement, connecting with others, and speaking out against oppression; a combination of political thoughts, technological advancement, and cultural insights.

There’s a lot more going on that I want to share than I realized.

For my US readers: don’t forget to change the times on your non-internet appliances!
