An unexpected occurrence, the end of an era, and my first big "hit"

Also a confession about this newsletter

Nobody likes being sick.

Every February, like clockwork, all the kids decide to get together to swap germs and take them back to their respective parents.

It’s a ritual of sorts, right?

Regardless of whether you’re a parent or not, if you have a 9-5, you will be in the line of fire.

Ah well, c’est la vie mes ami(e)s! As they say, “this, too, shall pass.”

I’m not looking forward to the yellow clouds of pollen that will sweep through the South afterward, though.

In any case, I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine’s Day!

Here’s what I’ve got for you this week.

Prismatic Progress:

Something I’ve noticed in my restructuring:

  • my writing has skyrocketed

  • my distribution has completed reset

  • my views on this journey have shifted drastically

Now that I know exactly who it is that I’m writing to, I’ve been watching those who subscribed here dwindle a bit.

The latest unsub was a person who definitely doesn’t fit my target audience, and I’m glad he left. He’s become quite successful in his own writing business, and I wish him well.

That being said, I’m not actively promoting this newsletter anywhere at the moment.

It may sound foolish, but I choose for it to be this way for a bit longer.

Ideas and inspirations now pour in on a regular basis.

I’ll start looking around and offering it soon.
