Back on my Patronus, a return to form, and another deep writing thought...
Momentum is building as the year begins to end - introducing the next evolution of this newsletter as I start construction

I’ve started prepping for next year because I’ve been tinkering and talking with AI…
There’s a lot of material that I’ve shared with it over the past year, and it was time to see just how much of it the LLM could handle and formulate into a cohesive and coherent theme around what I want to do.
It’s not bad! I just needed someone to put together a plan for me to execute.
Here’s what I’ve come across this week:
BlueSky Bit - a capybara collective…
Medium Moment - Even the juggernauts need a break every now and then
Substack Sampling - Obvious, but also not, when it comes to writing…
Prismatic Progress:
So that experiment that I mentioned in the last issue?
That I would apply the little things I learned from my short-form writing days on Twitter to Substack as well as a few other actions and do each of them every single day without fail:
Post a Note (tweet)
Capture one topic idea
Write at least 250 words anywhere
Take one action towards building my business
Engage with at least three comments on notes or articles
The results were predictable of course. I used the same approach to build my Twitter account three years ago, but I could only to the first and last act. The three in the middle were impossible to even consider back then as I had no skill.
These actions are guaranteed to build momentum, yet 99% of people don’t do them.
This applies to everything in life as well. If you want success, do the boring things every single day. The basics never go out of style, and the stuff that works never stops working — they simply compound over time.
Oh and the fourth action? That’s the one that I mentioned at the top of this piece. Nobody outside of this publication will see anything about it until 2026, but YOU get a front row seat.
