How I earned my first dollar by accident

It finally happened quite by accident.

My first internet dollar.

Here's how it happened..

It was Monday of this week…

A DM lit up my notification.

It was from a great guy that I had met back around when I first started writing here.

We had interacted with each other and connected over DM's a few weeks ago, compared strategies on how to grow, and next steps for him.

I mentioned Kieran Drew's course.

You know, the one where he made over $100k in a matter of days?

That program.

By the way, it's worth every penny I spent.

Now that Kieran's had opened the doors again, this was his chance to nab it in all its OnlyFans glory...

It's also one of the few courses I've paid for since I have very limited time to consume them.

More on that for another time.

I had totally forgotten about my affiliate status from buying Kieren Drew's "High Impact Writing" program when he first offered it a few months ago...

I knew it was a quality course with all the bells and whistles (and even more with the new version that just released).

So when my buddy asked for the link, I didn't think too hard about it.

I grabbed the link from my Thrivecart account and popped it over before starting dinner.

I thought it was a long shot that anyone would actually want to go through an affiliate link...especially through me.

Wouldn't it be loverly though...

Back to mac and cheese prep…

30 minutes and a few DMs later...

“BZZZZZ”

What just happened?

Did he really buy through my affiliate link just now??

I pulled out my phone in the middle of cooking dinner for my boys.

I stared for a moment...

Then it hit me.

I had just made my first internet money!

• through an affiliate link

• to a program that I enjoyed and supported

• through a connection that I wanted to help on their journey

Not only did it make this idea become a reality...

it told me that I could do this without feeling like I was scamming everyone.

The Takeaway

So to recap:

To those of you reading who think

• this is a pipe dream...

• that only people with oodles of free time can do…

• that 9-5 parent creators won't be able to pull off...

This mind miner finally struck a small gold vein.
