My humor for Easter, the ongoing struggle for Medium writers, and overcoming your limitations
So much pollen...

What a week…
My wife had something to do just about every night, so I was solo-parenting for the entire week and putting the kids to bed. Not sure if anyone noticed a difference in this week’s writing as I was doing it at around 2 or 3 in the morning, but paradoxically I got way more sleep than I’ve been getting for the past two months.
Today was the Easter egg hunt for our kids.
And I thought Halloween was too much candy.
Here’s what I’ve dug up this week:
BlueSky Bit - Alien-themed Easter
Medium Moment - the struggle of writing on this platform is real
Substack Sampling - the challenge of facing your self-limiting beliefs can be tough
Prismatic Progress:
Ups and downs of this journey can be harder in some phases.
This is my third year of writing, and I’m approaching 1000 days of this journey. After carving out this time across so many writing platforms and meeting writers from across the world, there are now a handful of people that I keep in touch with. I’ve watched so many grow their following rapidly, talk a big game, then burn out spectacularly. Some return months later. Others have yet to resurface.
It’s these periods that I hope they share when they do come back someday.
Those dark periods are when some of the most profound discoveries can be made, away from the noise and distraction of social media. Many of them are parents with young children like me. While I’m not sure if most are reading what I share here, I can only hope that their paths are leading them to realizations that change them for the better.
Here’s to continuing down this path.
